Return Policy

At Matchaholic, we are committed to providing you with the high-quality matcha from Japan. Your satisfaction is our priority. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please review our return and refund policy below.

1. Eligibility for Returns:

Returns are accepted within 10 days of the delivery date.

To be eligible for a return, the product must be unopened, in its original packaging, and in the same condition that you received it.

Due to the perishable nature of matcha, we cannot accept returns on any opened or used products unless there is a verified quality issue.

2. Non-Returnable Items:

Opened Products: We do not accept returns of any opened or partially used matcha products for health and safety reasons.

Promotional Items: Items received as part of promotion products are not eligible for return.

3. Refunds (if applicable):

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you via email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5-7 business days.

4. Exchanges (if applicable):

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, please contact us at info@matchaholic.nl with details of the issue and photos of the damage or defect.

5. How to Return an Item:

To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team at info@matchaholic.nl with your order number and reason for the return.

We will provide you with a return shipping label and instructions on how to send your product back to us.

Return shipping costs: Return costs depend on the reason for the return:

If the return is due to our error (incorrect, damaged, or defective item), Matchaholic will cover all return shipping costs.

For all other returns, return costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Within the Netherlands: €7.95

Other countries:€12.00

6. Late or Missing Refunds (if applicable):

If you haven’t received a refund yet, please check your bank account again, then contact your credit card company, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
